THE GULF COAST SAMPLER
4 DAYS & 3 NIGHTS
APRIL 22 – 25, 2024
$649.00 per person / double occupancy

 Late April is a great time to visit the Gulf Coast.

 We will spend 3 nights on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast in Biloxi.

 While staying in Biloxi, we will travel one day to New Orleans for a step-on-guided tour of the city and surrounding areas.

One of the country’s oldest cities, New Orleans is filled with many historic sights and interesting stories.

While in New Orleans, there will be leisure-time for lunch and enjoying the sights and shops of the French Quarter.

One day will be spent with a visit to Beauvoir.  This was the final home of the president of the Confederate States of America, Jefferson Davis.

A volunteer guides us through the home, pointing out many interesting pieces and stories of this beautiful home.  The library and museum on the property put the visitor in the middle of the events of the post-Civil War south.

The word Beauvoir means beautiful view.  Nestled among cedar, magnolia and live oak trees, facing the waters of the Gulf Coast, this beautiful home lives up to its name.

We will also be treated to a shrimping tour in the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

This is a fascinating experience as our fishing guides point out the spectacular world of sea life caught on a real shrimping expedition.

When the net is pulled in, the first mate points out the different species of marine life while explaining the daily life of a Gulf Coast shrimper.

This tour has been loved by everyone we have brought to it and we are confident you will love it as well.

 Along with the sights and tours mentioned, we have included;

 ( 3 ) Breakfasts    &   ( 2 ) Dinners
