This great, short tour features the beauty of CALLAWAY GARDENS at the height of the azalea season.

As well as the acres of azaleas, these gardens are filled with plants and flowers of all kinds.

We will be treated to a drive -through step-on-guided tour of the gardens as we are informed of the rich history and stories about the area.

In the DAY BUTTERFLY CENTER, we find 1,000 or more butterflies who dip and soar and flutter about in one of America’s largest butterfly conservatories.

In the DISCOVERY AMPHITHEATER, we will experience the BIRDS OF PREY as these various raptors-which cannot be released into the wild due to injury or human imprinting- display their strength, speed and natural instincts in daily flight programs.

As they swoop overhead, giving guests an up-close look, the raptor experts explain the species in detail.

At the CALLAWAY DISCOVERY CENTER on the side of Mountain Creek Lake, we find a beautiful 35,000 square foot center featuring exhibits and interactive kiosks about Callaway Gardens as well as the Discovery Gift Shop.

This tour also includes a visit to the largest animal safari park in the southeast.

At Georgia’s WILD ANIMAL SAFARI, we will ride a private tour bus with an experienced safari guide for a fun-filled behind the scenes experience through this 300-acre park.

The park is filled with scenic views, dozens of animal species and to view as our knowledgeable zoo keeper points out the animals who roam freely though the park.
