DISCOVER THE OUTER BANKS
6 DAYS & 5 NIGHTS
JUNE 3 – JUNE 8, 2024
1,195.00 per person / double occupancy

On the eastern shores of North Carolina and southeastern Virginia lie the barrier islands known as The Outer Banks.

Known for the wide expanse of open beachfront and mild sub-tropical climate, the Outer Banks draw countless millions to enjoy themselves yearly.

We will spend three nights in a beachfront hotel and visit the sight of America’s first flight in Kitty Hawk at the Wright Brothers National Memorial and Museum.

When the Spanish explorers landed here in the 1500’s they brought horses.  When they left, many of the horses were left behind.  Today, descendants of these horses roam a protected area of 7,500 acres along the beaches and dunes.

We will observe these Wild Spanish Mustangs of Corolla in their natural habitat.

 The waters along the banks are filled with dolphins.

We have included the Nags Head Dolphin Watch to observe the dolphins along with many of the different species of birds including pelicans, egret, osprey and cormorants.

While on the Outer Banks, we will attend the outdoor drama “The Lost Colony” based on the disappearance of a settlement of English who vanished from here in 1587.

We will also visit the Cape Hatteras Seashore and the famous lighthouse there as well as the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum.

Along with the sights and tours mentioned, we have included;

( 5 ) Breakfasts    and   ( 2 ) Dinners
