 Spring is a great time to be in Virginia.

From the scenery of the Shenandoah Valley to the Atlantic Coast, there is much to see and do.

This tour highlights include a visit to Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello where the docents reveal the day-to-day life of one of our country’s most influential statesmen.

Colonial Williamsburg is a very interesting stop also.  This is the sight of one of our country’s earliest governments. A docent guided tour shares some very interesting events along the way to establishing our nation.

Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown are sights we will also visit.

At Jamestown, we can walk around the English settlement as well as the Powhatan Native American Village.  Costumed historical interpreters share the world of 17th century Virginia with interested visitors.

There are also replicas of the three sailing ships ; “Susan Constant”, “Godspeed” and “Discovery” which brought the settlers to the New World. As a visitor, you are allowed aboard these ships.

At the American Revolution Museum, we will enjoy interactive exhibits, live reenactments, art galleries and films which put us in the middle of this historic period.

Another thing to enjoy on this tour is a narrated cruise of Hampton Bay in Virginia.

This cruise includes a sail through the world’s largest Naval Base and historic sights of Virginia’s largest port.

 Along with the sights and tours mentioned, we have included;

( 5 ) Breakfasts and ( 2 ) Dinners
