THE MAGIC OF MACKINAC ISLAND
7 DAYS & 6 NIGHTS
MAY 20 – 26, 2024
$1,399.00 per person / double occupancy

This island has been a popular destination of ours for over 30 years.

The fact that there are no motorized vehicles allowed on the island has lured visitors from all over to enjoy the quiet and the clip-clop of the horse’s hooves.

 Our rooms for this year are beachfront in Mackinaw City on the shores of Lake Huron.

We will spend two nights in these lakefront rooms with balconies overlooking the lake.

Our horse-drawn carriage tour of the island ends up at the Chippewa Hotel where we are treated to lunch overlooking Lake Huron.  The afternoon will be free time to enjoy the shops of the island’s main village and relax along the lakefront before our ferry takes us back to the mainland in the late afternoon.

 We will also visit “Little Bavaria”, Frankenmuth, Michigan.  The architecture and friendly vendors of this village will almost convince you that you have somehow traveled across the world to Bavaria.

While in Frankenmuth, there will be time to visit Bronner’s Christmas Village, the world’s largest Christmas store with any kind of Christmas decoration you can imagine.

Another great feature of this tour is a day-long visit to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.

 This museum offers a fascinating look at America and the important role our country has played in the development of the world.

From automobiles to trains and airplanes and all types of mechanical inventions, you will be able to find them here and walk the streets of a turn-of-the-century village on the sight of Greenfield Village.

Along with the great sights and tours mentioned, we have included 9 meals;

( 6 ) Breakfasts           ( 1 ) Lunch    &   ( 2 ) Dinners
